Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Pasaana ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, interact with our platform, or engage with us as a prospective or current client.

1. Information We Collect

Business Contact Information

We may collect personally identifiable information, such as:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Company name, job title, and business address
  • Information submitted through demo requests or contact forms
  • Account credentials for authorized platform users

Platform Data

When clients use our technology platform, the platform may process:

  • Loan file data and related documents submitted for processing
  • Underwriting inputs and validation outputs
  • Blockchain-recorded loan events and audit trail data

Note: Platform data is processed on behalf of and under the direction of our institutional clients. Clients retain ownership and control of their data at all times.

Usage Data & First-Party Analytics

Pasaana operates its own first-party analytics — we do not embed Google Analytics, Segment, Mixpanel, or any other third-party analytics SDK on this site. When you visit or navigate the website, we automatically capture:

  • IP address, user agent, and basic device information
  • Pages visited and approximate time spent on each page
  • Referring URL and UTM parameters from your landing page
  • Clicks on high-intent calls to action (e.g. “Apply for the program,” “Talk to a founder”)
  • AIDA chat sessions, including the transcript of messages exchanged with the assistant

Each visitor is assigned an opaque first-party identifier (pasaana_visitor_id), stored in a cookie that lasts up to one year. The identifier is a random string and does not, by itself, contain or reveal any personal information. If you later submit a form or provide an email to AIDA, we associate the identifier with your business contact information so that our team understands the context of your inquiry.

Do Not Track: If your browser sends the Do Not Track signal (DNT), our analytics tracker is fully disabled — no page-view, click, or chat-session signals are recorded for your visit. Form submissions you initiate yourself still work, since they require your explicit action.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our technology platform
  • Process and respond to demo requests, inquiries, and support requests
  • Communicate with prospective and current clients about our services
  • Improve our platform, website, and user experience
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Detect and prevent unauthorized access or misuse

3. Information Sharing

We may share your information in the following situations:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to respond to legal process
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Your Consent: When you have given us explicit consent to share your information

Note: We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Client platform data is never shared with other clients or used for purposes outside the scope of our service agreement.

4. Data Security

We implement institutional-grade technical and organizational security measures, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Network isolation and segmentation
  • Centralized secrets and key management
  • Role-based access controls with comprehensive audit logging
  • Continuous security monitoring and threat detection
  • Regular security assessments

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or by the terms of a client service agreement.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request access to your personal data
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal requirements)
  • Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt-out: Opt out of marketing communications

To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@pasaana.com

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use only first-party cookies — no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. The cookies we set are:

  • pasaana_visitor_id — opaque visitor identifier for our first-party analytics. Lasts up to one year. Disabled when your browser sends Do Not Track.
  • pasaana_announce_*— remembers that you have dismissed an announcement banner so we don't show it again on subsequent visits.
  • authjs.session-token — session cookie for the internal Pasaana admin area. Only set after a successful Pasaana staff login.

In addition, the AIDA chat assistant uses your browser'ssessionStorageto remember the current conversation across page navigations within the same tab; this data is cleared when you close the tab.

You can clear or block our cookies at any time through your browser settings; the marketing site will continue to function normally if you do.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
