What We Do
The mortgage industry spends over $11,000 per loan on origination — and tens of thousands more when loans go wrong after sale. Most of that cost is labor: document review, underwriting, QC sampling, servicing operations, compliance.
Pasaana builds the AI technology that automates those processes. Our platform is organized as modules — AI Underwriting, AI Loan Validation, AI Servicing Automation, and AI Property Monitoring — all orchestrated by AIDA, an autonomous AI coworker that runs workflows with graduated trust and human oversight. Blockchain-backed immutable records are built into every module at no extra cost.

Pasaana was founded in 2024 by Erik and Christian Zoega. One conviction: mortgage operations haven't been reimagined in 30 years — and AI finally makes that possible.

Co-founder & President
Three-time founder. Sold two companies. Built IMTC (imtc.com) to Series A — foreign exchange infrastructure used by institutional investors. Decades of finance industry relationships, go-to-market expertise, and mortgage capital markets experience. Was in semi-retirement when AI changed everything. Came back to build Pasaana because this was the moment to rebuild mortgage operations from the ground up.

Erik’s son. Technical architect of the Pasaana platform. Builds production systems with AI at every layer — from the agent orchestration that powers AIDA to the automation that runs Pasaana’s own operations. The engineering mind behind Pasaana’s Dual-LLM Consensus, specialist agent architecture, and blockchain infrastructure. An AI-native builder shipping what would normally require a 50-person engineering team.

Christian codes alongside AI every day. AI writes production code, reviews pull requests, catches bugs, refactors architecture, and builds features. The entire Pasaana platform — backend, frontend, database, blockchain, agent framework — was built by one developer paired with AI.

Every pixel you see was created with AI. The website, the logo, the presentations, the UI components, the marketing visuals — all designed through AI collaboration. No design agency. No freelancer. AI generates, iterates, and produces production-ready assets.

AI writes test suites, validates code changes, performs regression testing, and catches defects before they ship. The same Dual-LLM philosophy we sell to clients — multiple AI checks on every output — we use on our own code.

Built on Frontier AI Infrastructure
We don't pick one model and hope for the best. Pasaana runs on all major frontier models — Claude, GPT, Gemini — often validating each other's work through our Dual-LLM Consensus architecture. Dedicated AI agents handle specialized tasks, Maya orchestrates as an AI coworker, and MCP servers give every model live access to the data it needs.
Operations & AI Chief of Staff
Maya acts as our AI chief of staff — coordinating across every function above, tracking deliverables, surfacing what needs attention, and keeping two founders running an operation that would normally require a full leadership team. She reports in Slack and asks for approval on anything material.

Research & Foundation
Studied mortgage operations across multiple countries. Identified the US market's core problem: fragmented technology, manual processes, and workflows designed decades ago. Started building with early AI tools — learning what worked, what didn't, and how far we could push a two-person team.
AI Gets Better. So Do We.
As AI models rapidly improved, so did our platform. What started as AI-assisted development became AI-native development — writing production code, designing interfaces, testing systems, and architecting at a pace that kept doubling. By year's end: a full modular platform built by two people that would have taken 50 people years to develop.
AIDA & Market Entry
Launched AIDA — the orchestration layer that turns our modules into an autonomous AI coworker for mortgage operations. Expanded to five customer segments. Then went further: deployed Maya, our own AI VP of Marketing & Sales, to run Pasaana's go-to-market — proving that the same agent architecture we sell to clients can run an entire business function. Two founders, zero outside hires, every function powered by AI. First pilots underway.
